On-Line Application for Foreign Healthcare Professionals

PROCESS

FPGEE

The Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination, or FPGEE, is one of the examinations required as part of the FPGEC Certification Program. (You must also take and pass the TOEFL iBT, the English-language exam administered by Educational Testing Service.)

The FPGEE is offered twice each year, and it is administered at Pearson VUE test sites throughout the continental United States. Only individuals made eligible during the FPGEC application process can take the FPGEE.

Once you successfully complete the FPGEC evaluation process, you will receive a letter of acceptance to sit for the FPGEE as well as detailed information on the registration and scheduling process. A FPGEE Identification Card, which will contain instructions for beginning the exam registration process, will also be included.

Taking the FPGEE

  • Check current testing dates Here

  • Register for the FPGEE on NABP's Web site.
You can only register to take the FPGEE if you have received an acceptance letter from the FPGEC. Within a few days of registering to test with NABP you will be e-mailed your Authorization to Test (ATT) from Pearson VUE. The ATT authorizes you to schedule an appointment to take the FPGEE at a Pearson VUE test site.

  • Schedule your appointment to take the FPGEE.
Once you register for the FPGEE with NABP and receive your ATT, you may schedule your examination on the Pearson VUE Web site or by contacting the Pearson VUE customer service department at 888/709-2679. Confirmation of your scheduled test (including time and place) will be sent to you via e-mail. Retain the FPGEE Identification Card that you received with your acceptance letter. You must present it at the Pearson VUE test site on the day of the exam.

Cost for taking the FPGEE

First-time FPGEC candidates will be required to submit a fee totaling $1,200, which includes $450 for the evaluation of all documentation and a $750 for the FPGEE.
